Review Of The Toro Power Clear 180 (18") 87cc Single-Stage Snow Blower - 38272

The Toro Power Clear 180 (18") 87cc Single-Stage Snow Blower – 38272 is a strong and reliable machine. At least that's what the manufacturer says. Many customers seem to tell a different story. For the most part customers have complained about gas leaks with this snow blower. I'm not 100% sure about this but I believe this model was recalled because of gas leaks.

Let me tell you a little more about the Toro Power Clear 180. It has a 4 Cycle 87cc Toro R Tek Engine that gives it a decent amount of power. It can actually clear quite a bit of snow in a short amount of time. It's not good for anything heavy but it can handle the light to medium snow falls with ease.

With its 18 inch clearing width it can clear all the way down to the pavement. It is perfect for small driveways and sidewalks. The great thing about this machine is that it is compact which makes it easy to store. Just collapse the handle down and store it away. It only weighs 54 pounds so you can hang it on a garage wall if you have that type of set up.

I wouldn't call it one of the best snow blowers but it will without a doubt get the job done. In my opinion the $350 price tag is a little bit much for what you get. The chute is a bit flimsy and the key is placed in a weird position. However, it is electric start which makes starting it up very easy.

Since it is small it is not ideal for big jobs. If you have a huge driveway you will probably use a couple of tanks of gas to get it done. Other than the gas leak this is a relatively decent machine. Again I feel it is priced pretty high but it will help you remove the snow from your driveway and sidewalks.
